Course AimsThis course prepares you to teach English to adults in a business/professional environment. As an ESP or Business English teacher you need to be able to design course materials that suit the everyday needs of your students in their place of work, i.e. banks, hospitals, oil companies, government organisations and commercial enterprises. TESOL. The course consists of 6 units/modules and at the end of each module there will be a task for you to complete and return to your personal tutor. With each returned module you will receive an assessment sheet, which allows your trainer to comment on your progress, give advice and guidance for future modules. Courses are available on CD-ROM or paper copy, which gives you the option to study by email or correspondence; whichever works best for you. topCourse DurationThis course contains approximately 90 hours of work, which can be completed in your own time. You may take as long as you need to complete the course, although most trainees finish within 1 - 2 months. There are no set start dates. You decide when you start. Unit 3 - Testing and Examinations - looking at placement and diagnostic tests; progress tests; types of testing etc.
