In response to this need, we pioneered flexible TEFL training methods unrivalled by any other TEFL training provider. You can choose to combine supported distance learning with one or two weeks of classroom based learning at a choice of TEFL training centres in Barcelona, Spain; Crete, Greece; Prague, Czech Republic; Cusco, Peru; London, UK; Cardiff, UK, Leeds, UK; Great Yarmouth, UK and Nantwich, UK.
Supported Distance Learning
Supported Distance Learning means you will be learning in your own time, by reading course material, working on course activities and completing tasks. Your personal tutor, who is responsible for grading your work and providing feedback and guidance, will support you. You will also receive support from a centralised team of TESOL Advisors.
Classroom Based Learning
Classroom Based Learning means you will attend an onsite class where you will be taught by a number of trainers and have the opportunity to interact with other TEFL students. Classroom based learning also includes observed teaching practice on real language students.

You may wish to benefit from the flexibility of studying entirely by supported distance learning, but worry that you will miss out on valuable classroom teaching practice. No need to worry! The Cert TESOL + TP is a combination of the Cert TESOL by distance learning with a one week, onsite Teaching Practice Certificate.
Teaching Practice takes place in real language schools in the UK in London, Cardiff, Leeds, Great Yarmouth and Nantwich.
If you value interaction with other learners but don't have four weeks to spare, you can combine two weeks (70 hours) of supported distance learning with two weeks of classroom based learning at a choice of centres in Prague, Czech Republic; Crete, Greece; Cusco, Peru; Nantwich, UK or Barcelona, Spain.
Each combined TESOL/TEFL course option leads to the following three internationally recognised TEFL certificates:
- College of Teachers Certificate of Educational Studies in TESOL
- INTESOL Certificate in TESOL
- INTESOL Teaching Practice Certificate
