The City

The capital city of Prague is a place of contrasts: Serene green isles in the river and peaceful parks draping the citys' seven hills are just steps away from the architectural treasures and bustling street life of the city centre.

Built on the banks of the river Vitara a network of 14 large bridges span the water. Declared a World Heritage site by UNESCO in 1992 no other European capital's architecture is so completely unspoiled by natural disaster or mans conflict.

Whilst you will be here primarily to study and develop into a TEFL teacher many students are interested in Prague by night.

Modern day Prague boasts new galleries, cafes and clubs. Karlovy Lazne, near Charles Bridge, the largest Club in Central Europe, is living proof of how Prague has changed into a truly modern European city. Whatever you are into our student coordinator will introduce you to the most interesting clubs, bars and activities the city has to offer.

From the moment you arrive in the fabulous city of Prague, we will put all of our efforts into making your stay rewarding and enjoyable. Each course begins with a welcome dinner and you will be given a walking tour to introduce you to all of the important spots around Prague's centre. Throughout your stay and studies with INTESOL Prague we will be on hand to provide you with all the assistance and information you require.

Prague Accommodation

"Where will I stay in Prague?" is probably high on your list of concerns. We have affordable, fully equipped and centrally located apartments available for those in need of accommodation. On your application we ask you to tell us whether you will need accommodation and of what type. As demand for our lovely apartments is usually high, it is first-come-first-served, but we will find accommodation for everyone who asks. In addition to the apartments we have at a discounted rate, we could place you with a host family, connect you with a real estate agent, or find a hotel or hostel in your price range. All you have to do is ask, we are here to help.

Stay is from one day before the course until one day after

The shared flat accommodation has a bedroom for each person (or 2 people who decide to share), a kitchen and common area for study. You will be provided with bed linens, a towel, and each room will have a desk and chair in addition to the beds.

Host family stays are arranged as needed, and the stay for one person with a host will range from 450 Euros for the month for a private room and bathroom, to 600 Euros for the month with two meals per day, washing and ironing included. Please tell us what you require from your host and we will find the right host for you.
