Where are INTESOL affiliated language schools?

Our centres in Spain, Peru, Costa Rica, Italy and have affiliated language schools that hire graduates every month. Though employment is not guaranteed, excellent opportunities do exist for talented INTESOL graduates within these schools.

Threshold Training Associates - Prague

Threshold Training Associates (TTA), our affiliated language school in Prague currently employs 90 teachers, hiring graduates on a monthly basis (particularly in January, September and October). Although we offer no guarantees, you could well be one of those who like it so much at INTESOL Prague that you decide to stay with us!

TTA specializes in language teaching for academic, business and professional purposes and has been operating since 1995. 90% of our activities consist of comprehensive learning programs designed to serve the needs of individual companies, based on detailed knowledge of the working environment. TTA also provides English for public, summer intensive, weekend and tailor-made courses.

TTA employs some 90 teachers (40 native speakers of English), 2 DOS’s (Director of Studies) and 10 administrative staff. TTA teaches over 4000 hours/month during the academic year and classes during the summer months. Our DOSs give a lot of support and attention to starting teachers, making sure that they are comfortable both personally and professionally.

TTA is a member of the Association of Czech Language Schools – the Association works to ensure quality services, teacher support and professional development, administrative support, etc.

Orbit Training - Barcelona

Should you decide to remain in Barcelona, our local knowledge and contacts are unparalleled due to our associated training company Orbit Training, prevalent in the Spanish corporate training market. Opportunities exist in the Barcelona area, not just within the city, but also, if you prefer a quieter and more traditional "Spanish" lifestyle, throughout the whole Catalonia province in which Barcelona is situated. Other towns in Spain such as Madrid, Valencia, and Seville also offer great teaching opportunities.

INTESOL - Cusco, Peru

INTESOL graduates seeking employment in Peru are placed with our partner school in downtown Cusco. Founded in 2003, the school is an executive language center providing the most professional services and training available. The modern facility has been designed with the needs of our clients, trainees, and staff in mind, offering five fully equipped classrooms for group and private classes, a language library, and modern laptop computers running Windows XP, all with hi-speed DSL Internet connections.

INTESOL Peru usually makes one to three job offers each month to the top-performing TESOL trainees. Whereas it is not guaranteed that we will make any particular TEFL trainee an offer, in 2004 we made an offer to at least two people from every TESOL course.
